Paula Patton (born in 1960) is an American actress. She also has produced films, including Mission: Impossible: Ghost Protocol. Her birthplace was in an upper middle-class family in Los Angeles and had big goals for her future. Her mom was obsessed with films and instilled the love of movies in her daughter. Paula was involved in her school's co-curricular activities and was particularly drawn to the dramatic arts. She was an excellent actor and loved performing with her fellow students. Hamilton Magnet Arts High School's Hamilton Magnet Arts High School was the setting for many school plays. She made the decision to train as an actor. She was part of The University of Southern Calif's summer camp, and loved the experience to death. She received a 3-month contract to create documentaries for PBS. After completing the project successfully, she started working as an assistant in the production of TV documentaries. Then she began producing documentaries. The work was enjoyable however, she always wanted to become an actor. In the romantic comedy Hitch she starred in a minor role alongside Will Smith. In the years since, she's played in numerous popular films as well as TV programs.
