Ky-Mani

Ky-ManiKy-mani has been a rising star with his untitled third album. Ky-mani was the child of Robert Nesta Marley (the legendary Jamaican table tennis champion) and Anita Belnavis (a Jamaican woman who has won numerous championships) the 26th of February, 1976 in Falmouth. Ky-mani comes from an East African term meaning adventurous traveler. As an individual living up to his name, each album or travel has been an adventure. The Journey was his first music venture. With an eclectic vision he searched for his niche while exploring the entire musical spectrum, exploring his many talents. In 2001, Many More Roads (Grammy-nominated), a "traditional" reggae album , was out, which revealed a more mature Ky-Mani. The Journey as well as Many More Roads were well loved by the public worldwide, and established Ky-Mani's position as an independent "artist". Ky-Mani is renowned for his distinctive blend with hip-hop, R&B and a hint of modern-day jazz.
